I am a high school student from Shanghai with a passion for mathematics, logic, and exploring the deeper connections behind problem-solving.
My journey with mathematics competitions started with a simple question: "Which competition is truly right for me?" When I explored international mathematics competitions, I realized that many students faced the same challenge. There are hundreds of competitions worldwide, but students often choose based on reputation rather than their own background, interests, and goals.
A student studying IB Mathematics AA HL, AP Calculus BC, or A-Level Further Mathematics may all love mathematics, yet their ideal competition paths can be completely different.
This platform was created to help students understand their mathematical strengths, discover suitable competitions, and build their own mathematical journey.
The goal is not to find the most famous competition. The goal is to find the competition that helps each student grow.
Beyond mathematics competitions, I am deeply interested in mathematical reasoning and advanced mathematical ideas, especially differential equations, logic, and mathematical philosophy.
I am a member of the Chinese team for the International Logic Olympiad and advanced to the World Finals held at Stanford University. This experience strengthened my belief that mathematics is not only about solving problems, but also about thinking deeply and building rigorous arguments.
I believe curiosity and growth come from exploring different fields. Boxing has taught me discipline and resilience; philosophy has taught me to question and think deeply; pickleball helps me balance academic exploration with teamwork and connection.
Outside of mathematics, my favorite companion is my Yorkshire Terrier, Pipi, who reminds me to always stay curious and enthusiastic.
